A collaboration with individuals from various denominational churches, compiled in ONE VOICE,
to stand united in worship intercession through this album over our beloved nation Malaysia.

INTRODUCTION
Distinguish Pastors, friends, songwriters and churches of all denominations. Oops! Asia together with an associate church High Praise Ministries in collaboration with NECF is currently producing an Independent Corporate National Album titled 'G'Day 2010, featuring locally written songs, theme taken from the scripture verse from:Joel 2:1&2 (Blow The Trumpets & Rend Our Hearts)
An album themed on spiritual transformation and proclaimation over the Nation of Malaysia.
Apart from this being just another ordinary album, GDAY 2010 is a tool for Worship Intercession. A divinely appointed album in the making for the coming corporate gathering of thousands, on the 23rd May 2010 at Stadium Shah Alam.

THE PURPOSE

The purpose of the album is to celebrate a historic culmination of Christians in our land, coming together to seek, pray and worship the Lord, in an atmosphere of praise, thus creating the awareness of the importance of corporate worship through songs that will be featured in this album. At the same time, the gathering of album proceeds through the GDay album sales will help partially to defray the organising cost for GDay 2010.

Pastor Alvin, senior pastor of High Praise Ministries Subang during the recording with his member Karine who sang Pastor Alvin's composition "In One Moment". 

Angeline Gan below added her backing vocal  into portions of the song "RELENT". Angie, who we fondly call her as, was majoring in Worship Music in Hillsong International Leadership College for the last 2 years. She has just returned to Malaysia to answer her Call in raising and equipping individuals in the area of vocals and worship. Angie and a few musician friends founded "UNLOCKING THE SONG IN YOU", a programme determined to train and equipp a new breed of worshippers after God's heart. Bellow, Matthew Dass, singer and songwriter for the song "SHOW ME"  with the Youth Group "INFUSE" from FGA IPOH at THE ARK STUDIOS last Friday.
Standing From left to right: Wilson, Kelvin and Joel while seated Matthew Dass. It was a great meeting and recording session we had with a team of passionate individuals who believes in their call to impact society amongst them in Ipoh. They drove all the way down in the morning and drove back after the recording on the same day. Such admiration for individuals like "INFUSE" whom we thank and praise God for.

Brother Josh Yeoh had his recording session yesterday the 3rd (Wed) at THE ARK STUDIOS for his song "RELENT".
A great recording session we had with Josh whose vocals and delivery was empowered by his first love, the Lord JC and the many prayers from all who were praying over us.

Josh has a humble spirit and a great attitude and fervantness in the Lord. Although at only 26 years, his passion in songwritting and singing is evident to which the Lord will use him in the seasons to come to inspire and encourage with his music. Great guy! - PL

The purpose of the album is to celebrate a historic culmination of Christians in our land, coming together to seek, pray and worship the Lord, in an atmosphere of praise, thus creating the awareness of the importance of corporate worship through songs that will be featured in this album. At the same time, the gathering of album proceeds through the ?G?Day album sales will help partially to defray the organising cost for GDay 2010.
THE THEME
The theme of the album will be based on a CORPORATE criteria (meaning songs that are congregationally inclined), featuring songs of proclamation, declaration, repentance, exaltation in praise, worship or prayer based on Joel 2 as mentioned earlier.
 
THE INVITATION
The invitation to participate in the ?G?Day album project is open to ALL Malaysian Christian songwriters from any church denomination or independent label.

All submission of demo recordings from all sources and form will not be returned to the sender.
All songs that are not selected will not be published without any official written permission or consent from the songwriter.

ALBUM-DIALECT
'G'Day 2010 will contain 8-10 FULL TRACKS of NEW or EXISTING songs, unpublished or published in line with the theme.

Current variation of intended dialect for 'G'Day 2010 are:
6-English
2-Bahasa Malaysia
1-Chinese
1-Tamil

Depending on entry and the number of different dialect demo's we receive, will we decide whether to increase or decrease the order of different dialects in 'G'Day 2010.
All decisions of the entire ?G?Day album production are made final by Oops! Asia & High Praise Ministries. 


PUBLISHING MATTERS OF LEGAL PROCEEDING IN COPYRIGHTS & ROYALTIES.
Please bear in mind that all selected songs will be notified, published under the Ministry and Banner of Oops! Asia in partnership with High Praise Ministries in collaboration with NECF. All songs selected will not be paid in any monetary form or any legal fee or royalty fees to any party whether group or individual.
Based on the concept of the album, 'G'Day 2010 will be an album based on partnership in support of the greater cause in sharing Christ and inspiring Christians to pray and proclaim through music and song over the land of Malaysia in praise and worship.
Therefore the subject of copyright, royalty fees and any legal matters are invalid in this project. But a position of trust, goodwill and good faith for the benefit of the entire Christian community in our land that we lend our support and contribution for a greater cause in ?G?Day 2010.
Should you have any reservations to this proposal of royalty and copyright issue agreement, I suggest that you differ from sending in any entry for the 'G'Day 2010 album project.

RECORDING & PRODUCTION CRITERIAS 
The production of all tracks in 'G'Day 2010, will be pre-arranged or pre-programmed by hired professional music arrangers from our local music scene who carries a reputable experience and credibility. The possibility of recording tracks with a band set-up in the studio will be based upon budget, decided upon by Oops! Asia & High Praise Ministries.

Main Vocal recording for each song will be given a maximum of 3 hours which includes Main Vocal & Backing vocals. (Take note: all vocalists must be extremely well prepared before studio recording proceedings).
 
All represented vocalist in the demo's we receive, will not necessarily be the final preferred or selected individual that will be singing the songs represented in 'G'Day 2010.
Depending on the quality of the vocalist in any Demo that we receive, it will be decided upon by Oops! Asia to find a suitable replacement vocalist that will render or carry the song to its maximum potential.
Should the panel find that the demo vocalist is suited and able to render with good vocal application, will we also consider using him or her.

Your partnership as an individual, church or Company, by financial contribution towards the production cost of ?G?Day 2010 are most welcome and greatly appreciated. As we venture into this project by undertaking the entire cost of ?G?Day 2010 album production, we pray by faith that you will be able to stand with us in your contributions that will significantly help reduce the financial burden sustaining this project, all for the benefit and greater purposes of the completion of the ?G?Day 2010 album for a greater cause of proclaiming Worship over our nation Malaysia.
There is absolutely no fixed amount to be given, how little or much, we will be greatly encouraged by your contributions, little or more.
